Volunteers from The Tigard Christian Church created our new garden spaces on August 9th, 2015. We planted vegetable seedlings and seeds in late August. This last week, October 2nd, students harvested lettuces, kale, potatoes, radishes, and spinach. Sherry, our Templeton cook prepared the veggies for an all school tasting. We look forward to trying out kale chips and for future harvesting of broccoli, cauliflower, and sugar snap peas.
